CoverageSamurai.com is owned and operated by Mobupps International Ltd. (“Mobupps,” “Coverage Samurai,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit CoverageSamurai.com, interact with insurance offers or comparison tools, click through to an advertising partner, or call a telephone number displayed on the website.
1. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to CoverageSamurai.com and the advertising, click-tracking, call-routing, call-measurement, and related services we operate through the website.
This Policy does not govern a third party’s independent collection or use of information after you visit a third-party website, interact with a third-party-controlled widget, or speak with an insurance provider, agency, carrier, call center, or other advertising partner. Those parties maintain their own privacy practices and policies.
Coverage Samurai is intended for adults located in the United States. It is not directed to children or individuals under 18 years of age.
2. Insurance and Advertising Disclosure
Coverage Samurai is not an insurance company, insurance carrier, insurance agency, or insurance broker. We provide advertising and referral services that help connect consumers with insurance comparison services, agencies, carriers, call centers, and other insurance-related advertising partners.
We may receive compensation when you click an insurance offer, interact with an insurance comparison experience, place a qualifying call, or complete another qualifying action.
We do not present every insurance provider, product, coverage option, or rate available in your area. Availability, eligibility, rates, savings, and coverage options vary by consumer and provider. Nothing on the website constitutes insurance, financial, or legal advice.
3. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with the website.
A. Website and Device Information
When you visit CoverageSamurai.com, we and our service providers may automatically collect:
- Internet Protocol address;
- Approximate location derived from an IP address;
- Browser type and version;
- Device type and operating system;
- Screen or display information;
- Referring website or URL;
- Pages viewed and links clicked;
- Date and time of access;
- Advertising, campaign, publisher, source, and sub-ID parameters;
- Cookie identifiers and similar online identifiers;
- Information about interactions with advertisements, comparison tools, and telephone-number links; and
- Security, diagnostic, and fraud-detection information.
We refer to this as “Technical and Usage Information.” Although some of this information may not identify you by name, it may constitute personal information under applicable law.
B. Insurance Comparison Widgets and Outbound Links
Coverage Samurai may display, embed, or link to an insurance comparison experience operated by QuinStreet, Inc. or another approved advertising partner.
QuinStreet and its partners may collect Technical and Usage Information when you view or interact with their content. If you provide information through a QuinStreet-controlled widget or landing page, QuinStreet or its partners may collect information such as your name, telephone number, email address, address, ZIP code, insurance preferences, vehicle information, property information, and other information needed to provide insurance-related results.
Unless otherwise stated at the point of collection, information entered directly into a QuinStreet-controlled widget or landing page is collected by QuinStreet rather than by Coverage Samurai. QuinStreet’s handling of that information is governed by the QuinStreet Privacy Notice.
We may receive limited reporting or attribution information from QuinStreet, such as whether a click or call qualified for compensation, campaign identifiers, timestamps, call duration, geographic region, or conversion status.
C. Inbound Telephone Calls
When you call a telephone number displayed on Coverage Samurai, we and our call-technology providers may collect or generate:
- Your calling telephone number;
- The telephone number you dialed;
- Date, time, and duration of the call;
- Approximate location and time zone;
- Campaign, traffic-source, publisher, keyword, and referral information;
- Interactive voice response selections;
- Call-routing information;
- The insurance provider, call center, or advertising partner receiving the call;
- Call disposition, connection status, and outcome information;
- Fraud, duplicate-call, and quality indicators;
- A recording and transcript of the call, where enabled and permitted by law; and
- Summaries, classifications, compliance findings, intent indicators, and other information derived from the call.
A telephone number, recording, or transcript may identify or be reasonably linked to a caller. Callers may voluntarily state names, addresses, insurance details, financial information, medical information, or other sensitive information during a conversation. We cannot prevent a caller from voluntarily stating this information, and a recording or transcript may capture it.
Please do not provide Social Security numbers, payment-card numbers, bank-account credentials, account passwords, or medical information unless an authorized insurance representative specifically requires the information and you are comfortable providing it.
D. Communications and Privacy Requests
If you contact us directly, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, state of residence, request details, and any other information you choose to provide.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, scripts, tags, local storage, call-tracking technology, and similar technologies to:
- Operate and secure the website;
- Remember preferences;
- Attribute clicks and calls to campaigns or traffic sources;
- Prevent duplicate, automated, invalid, or fraudulent traffic;
- Measure website and advertising performance;
- Understand how users interact with the website;
- Determine compensation for qualifying clicks or calls;
- Improve content, routing, and user experience; and
- Support advertising measurement and campaign optimization.
Your browser may allow you to block or delete cookies. Blocking certain technologies may affect website functionality, attribution, or the availability of comparison experiences.
Some browsers offer a Do Not Track setting. Because there is no universally accepted standard for Do Not Track signals, we do not currently respond to those signals. Where required by applicable law, we recognize legally valid opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, as requests to opt out of covered sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising activities.
5. Call Recording, Transcription, and AI-Assisted Analysis
Calls placed through a telephone number displayed on Coverage Samurai may be monitored, recorded, transcribed, and analyzed where permitted by law.
When recording is enabled, callers will receive a notice at or near the beginning of the call. If you do not want to participate in a recorded call, do not continue the call after hearing the notice. You may instead use an available online comparison option.
We may use recordings, transcripts, call metadata, and information derived from calls to:
- Route and connect calls;
- Confirm that calls were properly connected;
- Measure advertising and publisher performance;
- Verify billing and compensation;
- Evaluate service quality;
- Review regulatory and advertising compliance;
- Identify fraud, duplicate calls, misrepresentation, and invalid traffic;
- Understand consumer questions, needs, objections, and intent;
- Classify call outcomes;
- Score traffic sources and campaigns;
- Improve call routing and operational processes;
- Create aggregated or pseudonymized reports;
- Optimize internal media buying and advertising campaigns; and
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We may use automated tools and artificial intelligence services to transcribe, summarize, categorize, and evaluate calls. AI-assisted results may be reviewed by authorized personnel and may not always be accurate.
Coverage Samurai does not use AI analysis to determine your eligibility for insurance, set your premium, approve or deny coverage, or make another decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning you. Insurance providers make their own independent eligibility, underwriting, pricing, and coverage decisions.
Raw call recordings and transcripts are not necessarily anonymous because they may contain telephone numbers, voices, names, addresses, or other identifying information. When practical, we may remove direct identifiers or use pseudonymous identifiers in structured datasets used for reporting and internal optimization. Pseudonymized information may remain personal information under applicable law.
We do not authorize our AI service providers to use private call recordings or transcripts to train publicly available or general-purpose AI models. AI and transcription providers may process call content only to provide contracted services to us, subject to applicable contractual, privacy, confidentiality, and security restrictions.
We do not sell raw call recordings or transcripts as standalone consumer-data products.

We will not use personal information for a materially different, unrelated purpose without providing any additional notice or consent required by applicable law.
7. How We Disclose Information
QuinStreet and Insurance Advertising Partners
We may disclose or make available click, call, referral, campaign, routing, and attribution information to QuinStreet and to insurance providers, agencies, carriers, call centers, or other partners involved in responding to your request or receiving your call.
If you call a displayed telephone number, your telephone number, call information, and the contents of the conversation may be received by the party answering or receiving the transferred call.
Technology and Service Providers
We may engage service providers for website hosting, security, analytics, advertising measurement, call tracking, call routing, call recording, transcription, artificial intelligence analysis, data storage, fraud prevention, compliance monitoring, and professional services.
Our call-tracking technology may include Retreaver. Information processed through Retreaver is also subject to the Retreaver Privacy Policy.
Advertising, Attribution, and Analytics Partners
We may disclose online identifiers, campaign information, page interactions, click information, and conversion events to companies that help us measure or optimize advertising performance.
We do not disclose raw recordings or complete call transcripts to advertising platforms for their independent marketing purposes. Before beginning any materially different use, such as uploading caller telephone numbers or call-derived profiles to an advertising platform for external audience matching, we will evaluate applicable consent, contractual, and opt-out requirements and update this Policy or provide additional notice as required.
Corporate Transactions
We may disclose information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction.
Legal, Safety, and Compliance Purposes
We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law or valid legal process; protect users, partners, or the public; prevent fraud or security incidents; enforce agreements; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
8. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
We do not sell personal information for money as a standalone consumer-data product.
Certain disclosures of cookie identifiers, online activity, click information, campaign data, or conversion information to advertising, attribution, or analytics partners may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for “targeted advertising” under some state privacy laws, even when no money is exchanged for the information.
Where applicable, you may opt out of these activities by:
- Using our CCPA Web Form;
- Emailing Privacy@coveragesamurai.com with the subject line “Privacy Opt-Out”; or
- Enabling Global Privacy Control in a supported browser.
An opt-out does not prevent contextual advertising, essential website operations, security processing, fraud prevention, aggregate measurement, or disclosures necessary to complete a transaction or connect you with a service you requested.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 18 years of age.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.
The applicable retention period depends on:
- The nature and sensitivity of the information;
- Campaign attribution and reconciliation periods;
- Contractual and partner requirements;
- Fraud-prevention and quality-assurance needs;
- Applicable statutes of limitation;
- Tax, accounting, audit, and legal obligations;
- Whether information is needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
- Whether a legal hold applies.
Call recordings and transcripts may be retained while needed for quality assurance, compliance, fraud review, campaign analysis, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. We may retain call metadata, compliance findings, payment records, and deidentified or aggregated reporting for longer periods.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we will delete it, deidentify it, aggregate it, or securely isolate it from further operational use, subject to technical and legal limitations.
10. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. These measures may include access controls, authentication, encryption in transit or at rest where appropriate, logging, vendor controls, and limits on access to recordings and transcripts.
No internet transmission, telephone system, storage platform, or security measure is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you reside and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:
- Confirm whether we process your personal information;
- Access personal information we maintain about you;
- Obtain a portable copy of certain information;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Request deletion of personal information;
- Opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising;
- Limit certain uses of sensitive personal information;
- Appeal a decision concerning a privacy request; and
- Receive equal service without unlawful discrimination for exercising a privacy right.
To submit a request, use our CCPA Web Form or email Privacy@coveragesamurai.com.
Please include your name, state of residence, the right you wish to exercise, and sufficient information for us to locate relevant records. Because users do not create Coverage Samurai accounts, we may have limited ability to verify your identity or associate website activity with you.
For call-related requests, we may ask for the telephone number used, an approximate call date, and other information needed to locate and verify the relevant record. Do not send sensitive identity documents unless specifically requested through a secure method.
You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law. We may request evidence of the agent’s authority and may verify the request directly with you.
If we deny a request, you may appeal by emailing Privacy@coveragesamurai.com with the subject line “Privacy Appeal.”
